Terms of use

Last updated 16 October 2026

These terms cover your use of Mintern at mintern.app. By signing in, you agree to them. Questions: hello@mintern.app.

What Mintern does

Mintern is an AI marketing strategist. It chats with you about your product, drafts social media posts, and posts the ones you approve to the accounts you connect. It also fetches simple results, such as likes and replies, so it can suggest better posts.

Your account

You stay in charge

Nothing is posted until you approve it. Drafts are written by AI and can be wrong, out of date or not quite you, so please read each one before approving. You are responsible for what you approve and for following the rules of each platform you post to (Bluesky, Threads, Instagram, Facebook).

Fair use

Please don't use Mintern to:

We may pause or close an account that does, and we'll tell you why where we can.

Your content

What you write and what Mintern drafts for you is yours. You give us permission to store it, process it and post it on your behalf, only so we can run the service. See the privacy policy for how we handle your data.

The service

Mintern is a young product and still changing. We work to keep it running and to post on time, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and social platforms can change or block access at any time. If a post fails, Mintern shows it and lets you try again.

Price

Mintern is free while it's in early access. If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you the price first and you'll only pay if you choose to.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Otherwise, we're not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or lost opportunities, or for what happens on third-party platforms. While Mintern is free, our total liability to you is limited to £100.

Ending

You can stop using Mintern at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@mintern.app. We may end the service or your access with reasonable notice, unless you've broken these terms.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and email you first.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also use your local courts.
